By looking after our customers with higher performance water tank installations, we place emphasis on infrastructure rather than the single downpipe hanging over the rainwater tank. We do not save on quality and proven connection products, like Plasson and Vinidex. Loose flexible hoses are for amateurs. Expect more from your water tank installer. You will be surprised there's little or no price difference between a good installation by Kerrimuir compared to many who would charge $1500 or more for a single downpipe, flexible hose installation.

Home assessment & free quotes

We provide site assessment and free quotes for all metropolitan suburbs in Melbourne. Size of garden and rain water usage estimation are taken into consideration before suggesting type and size of water tank for your home. Rather than selling you a rainwater tank then guessing if that will suffice, we look at the existing stormwater system, downpipes, preferred location for the round or slimline rainwater tank, then suggest ideal rainwater storage capacity. Then, we suggest the best water tank or tanks for the job.

We will also assess the site to ensure it's level and appropriate for a water tank. There may be local government regulations which may affect the location of the new water tank. Appropriate water tank base will be suggested including quotation if we are required to prepare and build a base for the rainwater tank or tanks.

No pressure killing small diameter copper pipes but performance guaranteed Plasson and Vinidex 25mm compression tube and connection products. If an elbow is required to finish the job nicely, we will not bend the pipe to save cost. We provide you quality rainwater tank connection parts which ensures performance and minimum service. Our version of standard installations

Wet systems using Rain Harvesting's Rainheads like Leaf Beater ensure pipes sealed from debris and vermin. We can bury pipes below or fasten above ground. The distance can reach 20 metres or more feeding the water tank. Pit systems require digging and placing a pit like Everhard Industries pit. Finding a balance between the pit size, submersible pump's water transferring flow rate, head height and distance consideration. We must ensure high volume rainwater transfer for maximum performance.

In both cases, we recommend a special filter bag fitted at the leaf strainer of the water tank. Our principle of filtering the water before it goes into the tank. Some believe in filtering dirty water on before with pump with a Y filter or equivalent which will ensure time wasting service. We promote this effective filtering system over any in the market. Most gadgets to flush and filter water simply are not cost effective in our experience.

With clean sediment free water from your tank flowing through the pump to the tap, you can consider once again to use sprinkler and drip systems. We have revived many though to be defunct underground sprinkler infrastructure. The feeling of freedom when you have sprinklers and drips working is immeasurable.
