Installation
Self-installation is permitted under most manufacturer's warranty policy for rainwater tanks we carry, may it be a slimline water tank, round water tank or underdeck water tank. The only exception are underground tanks. You will need a professional installer to install. For slimline and round water tanks, basic requirements are level concrete pad or a compacted gravel base or equivalent. While most parts and rainwater tank connection accessories can be found at your local hardware store, it maybe worthwhile paying a professional to get the job done right. Never over tighten brass outlets connections as it may tear the threaded outlet from the plastic body of the water tank, in which, warranty is most certainly void. However still repairable by water tank repair professionals from Kerrimuir Rainwater Products.
